At Halmstad University I study Digital Design and Innovation where I am given many opportunities to create innovative and value-creating digital services and products.
Here I learn to develop innovative and sustainable solutions in a rapidly changing world, with focus on the human relationship to technology.
As a Program Ambassador, I gathered insights from students and actively participated in collaborative meetings with students, teachers, alumni and industry representatives.
I communicated improvement ideas to enhance the program experience and contributed to ensuring its sustainable development and long-term relevance.
Outside of my studies, I have worked as a personal assistant for 3 years. I absolutely love the work where I provide calm, respectful, and individualized assistance to ensure a safe and meaningful everyday life.
In this line of work, I get many opportunities to strengthen my empathy and ability to understand individual needs. I work plenty with problem-solving and keeping attention to details to create a safe and comfortable experience and environment.

As of now, I am focused on improving my independence and confidence as a designer by leading projects on my own. This includes exploring the type of designer I want to become and what different areas I find most exciting such as service-, ux-, ui- and interaction design.
In preparation for my bachelor thesis I am currently focusing on developing my skills and knowledge regarding AI and its use in design processes and solutions. My interest is increasing as time goes on, and I strongly believe AI will open many opportunities for innovative design opportunities.
While UI is not my main focus, it still has a vital role in visualizing and communication ideas in almost every project. I have always had a strong interest in both physical and digital visual design and I am now using this interest to increase my knowledge and proficiency in techniques and rules and learn using new, fun and complex tools like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
I start my process with understanding the context of the project and the problem at hand. Whether through fieldwork, desktop research or data collection, my goal is to gain a broad overview of why the problem exists, who is affected, and the scope and constraints - especially when working with wicked or ill-defined problems.
I draw on a toolkit of methods I’ve developed as a designer, adapting them to fit the specific design context and project needs. I consider the research phase foundational - employing multiple data collection methods with confidence and tailoring my approach depending on project goals - for example by varying research into, for, and through design.
I take a solution-focused approach, exploring potential solutions early rather than getting stuck in analysis. I work iteratively, flexibly and in an agile manner, allowing room for brainstorming and adjustments as new insights arise.
I use non-verbal codes - such as sketches, maps and established models - to translate abstract needs, values and pain points into concrete ideas and solutions.
I prioritize design that delivers the greatest value to users, analyzing impact versus effort and balancing business goals, user needs, and technical constraints to create sustainable outcomes. Ethical considerations are central to my work, with strong focus on inclusion and accessibility. I enjoy applying universal design principles to ensure that all users - regardless of ability, background or context - can benefit from, and engage with, the product or service.
Understanding needs, touchpoints and pain points through qualitative or quantitative methods.
Understand how flows, navigation and information can be structured to improve user experience.
Visualize ideas in low, mid and high fidelity prototypes to test visual concepts and understand when and why they work.
Iterative workprogress with users integrated in the process. Evaluate through various methods, filters and manifestations.
I aim to approach my work with a human-centered approach with my users integrated in the design process as much as needed.
I often use an agile frameworks with methods such as Scrum, Kanban and Waterfall to achieve my goals.
